Marcus – the actor – the hands

Marcus is the actor as well as another wine specialist on our team. He’s the one who acts out our more theatrical performances and puts on the show that we all love. We’ve nicknamed him the hands because....well he is very expressive with them! Watch one of his performances and you’ll see what we mean

Lyn – the wine specialist – the tongue

Lyn brings years worth of wine specialist knowledge to the table. She has worked at various wine suppliers and she knows where almost every grape and brand comes from as well as the label on the bottle most likely! We call her the tongue of the company as she’s the one who literally does all the tasting! Without her pallette our wine tasting events wouldn’t be half as good......or tasty!

Jen – the marketing and advertising specialist – the lungs

Jen brings a wealth of knowledge to the table through her years of working within the marketing and advertising industry. She brings creativity, ideas and a bubbliness that cheer us all up. Although at the moment she’s only freelancing we’re hoping to make her a permanent member of the team in the not too distant future!

Jason – the intern and creative genius – the eyes

Jason is a new addition to the team but has made a big impact since joining. Even as just an intern he brings a lot to the table and his creative skills and abilities are second to none on the team which is why he’s used as one of our key creative inputters. We call him the eyes of the company as he’s the one with the vision and can see what things look like. The rest of us throw ideas around and talk forever but it’s Jason that sees the end product

Mel – full name Melchiorre – the brain

For those of you slightly religion savvy the name comes from one of the three wise men (or three kings depending on the story you hear) who visited the stable when Jesus was born in the Christian faith. Literally speaking the name means ‘king of light’ and hence the second part of our company name ‘shining’. Mel is Amelia’s uncle and is the founder of the company. With seven years of banking experience behind him and some fantastic project management skills learnt through previous roles as well as a passion and dedication to making a difference for his niece, you could call him the brain of the company

Amelia Rose – the inspiration – the heart

Our inspiration and could almost be called our mascot. The birth of the gorgeous Amelia was the inspiration for our company existing and her middle name Rose was put into the company name specifically to symbolise that she is the heart of the company
